NSS LV11 is a strong, durable slate with excellent proven reliability and performance here in the UK and European markets for nearly 50 years. It naturally splits from the block to give a relatively flat smooth fine grain surface. It is free of any reactive mineral inclusions and conforms to the requirements of BS EN 12326 with a W1 T1 and S1 specification. NSS LV11 slate conform to the stringent requirements of NF (Norm Francais) 228; this requires the quarry to meet even greater quality criteria and production testing procedures culminating with barcode traceability to be approved for use in France.
The French market is known to receive over 80% of global slate production.

ORIGIN: The LV11 Spanish natural roofing slates are extracted from deposits in the
La Fraguina, Riodolas Carballeda de V.- region of Orense in North West Spain.
