CHATSWORTH (Q100)

NSS “CHATSWORTH” is a strong, durable slate with excellent proven reliability and performance here in the UK and European markets for nearly 50 years. It naturally splits from the block to give a relatively flat smooth fine grain surface with a slight longitudinal texture. It has a clean surface conforms to the requirements of BS EN 12326 with a W1 T1 and S1 specification. (Copy BS EN 12326 Declaration of Performance certificate available upon request)  NSS “CHATSWORTH” slates also conform to the stringent requirements of NF (Norm Francais) 228; this requires the quarry and slates to meet even greater exacting quality criteria and production testing procedures culminating with barcode traceability to be approved for use in France.

ORIGIN: The “CHATSWORTH” Spanish natural roofing slates are extracted from deposits in the Galicia region of Northwest Spain.

COLOUR:  Blue Grey

TEXTURE: A smooth fine grain surface with slight longitudinal textured and traditional dressed edge detail

QUALITY: Northern Slate supply the CHATSWORTH Blue Grey in an Ultra, a Best and First selection having been through a stringent grading process and are tested to the requirements of British and European Standards

SLATE THICKNESS: 5/6mm, 6/7mm and 8/9mm
