NSS HARDWICK is a strong, durable slate with excellent proven reliability and performance here in the UK and European markets for over 50 years. It naturally splits from the block to give a relatively flat textured grain and structured (rustic/riven) surface. It is totally free of any mineral inclusions conforming to the requirements of BS EN 12326 with a W1 T1 and S1 specification. (Copy Declaration of Performance certificate available upon request)
NSS HARDWICK slates also conform to the stringent requirements of NF (Norm Francais) 228; this requires the quarry and slates to meet even greater exacting quality criteria and production testing procedures culminating with barcode traceability to be approved for use in France.
